Koyi is a platform that empowers users to earn by applying for specific jobs based on skills, learning, tutoring courses, and posting job opportunities, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for career growth and skill development.
Challenge
Individuals often face challenges in advancing their careers due to a lack of necessary skills, with traditional education systems failing to provide the specific training required for today’s dynamic job market. Additionally, people seeking flexible or supplementary income struggle to find legitimate opportunities that fit their schedules and preferences. Employers, on the other hand, face difficulties in quickly and efficiently finding qualified candidates, which can hinder business operations and growth. Furthermore, keeping skills updated in rapidly changing industries is challenging, and professionals need ongoing education to stay competitive.
Solution
Koyi is a platform designed to offer targeted training courses categorised and sub categorised for precise learning, flexible job opportunities for job seekers, and a streamlined hiring process to bridge skill gaps, support supplementary income, and ensure that employers can efficiently find qualified candidates, helping professionals stay competitive in a rapidly evolving job market.

My Role
Collaborated with my fellow product designer while working on the research, user flows, & maps,  the ideation process, the low fidelity designs, wire-framing, colour & font design systems and the final iteration designs.  Thanks to the other colleagues like the developers (Front & Back end) and project manger i worked with, learnt a lot from them during the project.
My Achievements
• Identified potential pain points and areas for improvement in the user journey by user research and user testing.
• Refined and polished high-fidelity designs for mobile and desktop screens based on feedback from usability testing and stakeholder reviews.
• Designed an admin pages which improved central, user management and efficiency.
• Collaborated with developers during the implementation phase to ensure that designs were accurately translated into the final product.
• Carried out A/B testing to get insights on feature which led to 10% retention rate on the platform.
